I'm Luca. I learned discipline on the pitch. I help the next generation of professionals build discipline, form life responsibilities, and keep what they've earned.
01 — My story
U15 – U20
My first call-up was a U15 camp in Mexico City. After that came a Canada U-17 camp (2013), Canada U-18 at the 2015 Slovakia Cup, where I scored on my debut, and Canada U-20 (2016–2017), including the 2017 CONCACAF U-20 Championship roster. Nominated for Canada Soccer U-20 Player of the Year in 2016 and 2017. I captained Canada at every youth level I played. It taught me that leading isn't about the armband. It's showing up first, holding the standard when no one's watching, and lifting the players around you.

2015 – 2020
Toronto FC II, USL (2015–2018; signed my first pro contract March 12, 2015), Memphis 901 FC, USL Championship (2019), then back to Toronto FC II for 2020. Before that, TFC Academy senior team in League1 Ontario (2014). 6+ years as a professional soccer player, giving everything to the game until new ideas and passions started to take shape.

2021 – 2024
The last whistle wasn't the end. It was the start of a new chapter. I took the same discipline that carried me through 6+ years as a professional and turned it toward new passions: money, independence, and helping others build lives they own. Different field, same work ethic.
At Humber I earned an Advanced Diploma in Architectural Technology (2021–2024) and played for the Humber Hawks: two CCAA national titles, CCAA Player of the Year, and 2022–23 OCAA Male Athlete of the Year.

Today
I write about money, self-rule and personal responsibility, and why sound money makes sense to me.

Discipline. Earned. Kept.
02 — Personal
I grew up in the Markham and Thornhill area, and my weeks were built around soccer: Thornhill SC, then Kleinburg Nobleton, then the TFC Academy. My older brother Julian went on to play professionally in Italy, so I learned early that nothing in this game is handed to you. I captained Canada at every youth level I played, and it taught me to lead by showing up prepared. More than anything, I played for the people in the stands who knew me before the crest. My family drove me to every practice, and my friends showed up to watch. All I really wanted was to give them joy, a game worth watching, and something they could be proud of.
At 17, I chose a professional contract over university scholarship offers, and I gave the game everything I had for more than six years as a pro. Then injuries and setbacks off the pitch caught up with me, and I had to let go of the career I'd poured my whole life into. Falling short of a dream after giving everything is hard to explain. In the hardest moments, the next step isn't always visible or within reach. You keep moving forward anyway, with action, and then it becomes reality. Life is a book that keeps unfolding, and if you want to, you get to shape your own story. My next chapter was architecture school at Humber, two national titles with the Humber Hawks, and a new career as a BIM Technologist at PICCO. Looking back has only led me to more passion and purpose in my life. Taking control of your own destiny matters, and there's never been a better time to start than now.
To me, "earned and kept" means personal responsibility and individual sovereignty: your time, your choices and your future belong to you. For years I never knew what that really meant. Nobody hands you a life you're proud of. You build it, you own it, and you keep it. That's why I care about sound money and self-rule. More than anything, I want to help young people find their purpose. Helping people is what truly brings me joy, and I want to spend my life helping young professionals build lives they're proud of. If you're figuring out your next step, never hesitate to reach out. I'd love to hear from you.

over $25,000
I led the #JuliansJourney fundraiser for MS for my brother Julian, who had to retire from his professional career in Italy after an MS diagnosis. Together we raised over $25,000.
